Hi Mr. @BY Bob ,

My human says you love Leghorns. She also said you are a nice man, but are missing one of your lovely flock. I thought I might try to cheer you u[p a bit.

I'm not a leghorn, rather a beautiful Welsummer, but I think I look like a brown leghorn - see:

And, I'm told you LOVE large floppy combs.....mine is pretty floppy and reasonably sized:

It really IS bigger than it looks in the picture - I promise! I am trying to make it grow more, but not sure how. Even if it does grow some more, I don't think I could ever compete with TGHE's comb.

I'm prettier than my sister, AND have a bigger comb than her!

Okay, gotta go, mom has some work for us. She brought us corn on the cob again. Doesn't she know corn should NOT be on the cob?? It is a lot of work to get it all off!

How sweet. You are certainly a beautiful lady and that comb is just amazing. It's so very nice to see you. Hopefully I get to see more.

Our Hooman is right, the pretty hen has never been one to hop up onto things like that footstool. As Ponypoor pointed out pretty hen would not want anyone to 'look under any pettycoats'.

While I'm sure Hattie suffers from arthritis, she is moving very well right now. She has a spring in her step and is bouncing across the lawn all day. She had never been one to go up on the footstool. It's not her way.

I know not every hen needs to strive to lay jumbo eggs like Butter. But really now, today I had a slacker! 3rd fairy egg in 3 years that I have found.

We will never know. This is my 3rd one in 3 years. I saved Daisy's and Henrietta's so this one is put up with them.
