Sitting at the surgery center, waiting on them to finish my husband’s rotator cuff surgery. I will either be on more often for the next few weeks, or hardly in at all, depending on taking care of him. Not looking forward to it, especially not when I am still hobbling around.

Leg is doing ok, but still bothers me a fair amount and makes me even slower than usual. Which is saying something, seeing as my grandmother always said I have two speeds, slow and stopped.

We will never know. This is my 3rd one in 3 years. I saved Daisy's and Henrietta's so this one is put up with them.

Hope you emptied the contents!

All mine I cracked and they had tiny little yolks which the girls all enjoyed.

Finally managed to entice the broodies out, I grabbed up the babies and mama followed me
out.

Fluffy is just going to town pummelling some stale bread to submission

Your triplets are beautiful! Don't tell my hen this, but they most definitely have it over her in the comb department!

As far as your speeds....my father used to say us kids only had 2 gears when it came to work/chores: 1st and reverse! (and we
'idled in neutral far too much")

Sorry to hear that your ankle is still so painful - is it because you are doing the strengthening and flexibility exercises regularly (i,e, so challenging it), or because it is just a slow and painful recovery? [Hoping it is the former, as, at least in my mind, it means progress]

About peppers. I’m perplexed . Will the chooks eat peppers (they ate my plants last year) are they okay for them, or will peppers hurt their little tummies? I personally love peppers, the hotter the better!
