I was wondering how the Little Princesses would fit in a comb as well as their spiky hair-dos, and it turns out that Minnie can’t!
I hope it doesn’t get in the way of her seeing properly.

Hi Flash.
Adorable! Flash looks more golden than mine around the neck - mine are more silver and their 'dos' are darker too. I think they are totally enchanting chickens and I am sure you already are having a lot of fun with Flash.
Mine are still committed flyers in the 'why walk when you can fly' school of thought. Dotty actually flew right into me yesterday - navigation remains a bit of a challenge it seems!

Then get them a GPS system for flying chickens.

And let me re-emphasize this. You NEED a Cream Legbar. They sit on your lap. They also lay blue eggs.

They don’t all sit on your lap. And some bite ankles.

And yes, they were Crested Cream Legbars and they died way too young.

Obviously a bold Robin. It landed while I was out on the deck.

Curlew contemplating nesting...in the field to the north of us (the creek snd flooding from is to the south of us). Babies will have a LONG hike to water if she settles there.

Do your chickens go out there? Likely might chase that Curlew away if so. Fluffy pitched a hissy fit when a sparrow landed on the vine above her and the babies, well she jumped up at the poor bird and chased it away wow it was amazing!

And that bumblebee flying around has been freaking out the two mamas. Good mamas!
