So does Twirp's. I read recently that 2 copies of the P make the comb look like 3 rows of peas (like RC's Calypso or my Pippa) but only 1 copy looks smaller. If that's the case, then she's Pprr comb genetics whilst the pair in parentheses are PPrr. Rose combs on the other hand don't seem to show the difference. Cheetah is RRpp (ALL of his offspring show Rose). Horus was Rrpp (Nellie as brown leghorn is rrpp: straight comb) and his comb was bigger than Cheetah's. Lark and Indigo are also Rrpp (Blanche/PITA are straing comb so rrpp), and their combs look just like Papa Cheetah's. Dunno why it works that way. Purebred silkies should be RRPP for walnut comb, always producing walnut, but a RrPp also produces a walnut, so cross that with a V comb and its unpredictable results. It looks all squiggly to me, not like a pea.
What kind of comb does his mother have? Cross that with a V comb and ....? If you hatched 50 roos of that cross, you might be able to find a pattern, but just as likely: @16 different style combs.

The eggs may be lighter toned. The polish white could filter out the blue, leaving the brown paint sprayer, or not. Gets unpredictable.I didn’t hatch an egg from her I don’t think, maybe I did with the school - can’t remember now. But guess any pullets would lay khaki eggs also from Mr P. Her daughter Rose lays an olive/khaki egg.
There is comfort in the group and touching each other. You can't blame them for sticking together. I think it's darling.Well I deployed the bigger tray on the upper deck (thank you Chewy) but they are all still squished together and ignoring the extra space. Silly chickies!

The tween stage is so cute and not all at the same time. She is currently rocking the condor look.I got a mugshot of Calypso. She wishes everyone a happy Monday.

For many of the comb info, you have to wait for the comb to grow to really see it.Like Martina
