Don't cross bridges until you reach them. Whiskey is in the middle of hormonal idiocy (age wise) but isn't abnoxiously atrocious about it (Kren and Horus would grab a girl and queue up, or attempt when one would try to lay an egg, their fight was final straw). Wait and see. Hector got walloped by Twirp who drew blood (wattles) early on and he's been pretty gentle ever since. (Wish she'd have walloped the dingalings too)

I have time, he is only 5 weeks old - and haven’t checked the silkies yet.

Such a worry maybe I can find a nice home for him. Stipulate if they don’t want him anymore he comes back here.

Correct. It falls outside the basic R/P comb genetics. R:rose comb, Pea comb. Both is walnut comb and all lowercase is straight comb. V, Cushion, Strawberry, and Buttercup are all outside that and do odd/unpredictable things when crossed with not same comb types.

No they didnt I got sent home with a zio patch too. Apparently I am supposed to take it easy for 4 weeks after the neck ablation and its been a week and I have been cleaning and stuff. Guess I will not be doing that again.

Oh - she is the Ameraucana - she is supposed to have a pea comb. Isn’t she also supposed to have a beard and muffs? No sign.
I like her face.

Aurora had a beard at 6 weeks.

I didn’t hatch an egg from her I don’t think, maybe I did with the school - can’t remember now. But guess any pullets would lay khaki eggs also from Mr P. Her daughter Rose lays an olive/khaki egg.
