Mugs Monday (mug shotsOk, thanks!
Fluffy but Friday is pretty self explanatory and I'm assuming Thirsty Thursday is pictures of chickens drinking water? What are Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday?
Thanks!Mugs Monday

I can’t wait ! Quite eggciting here with tots hatching, Rebecca’s on the weekend, and RM’s girls broody in the wilds!Well all...101 is the temp of the day. My husband is about to go check the chickens, get the fan in place, etc. Supposed to be 84 and under after that. I'm working from home...but like I said, I actually have to work!
Hatch day is tomorrow! I'm going to be patient though. She did bury then once, so maybe they'll be an extra day or two. I'll just check every little bit. I have to go in the office tomorrow though, so I'll be gone part of the day. I also just realized I haven't bought any chick starter feed! I'm not ready for babies!!!
Crazy weather with crazier daysIt's been all over the place here this year, hot, cold, rain, no rain...
It's a chilly morning here, my office it only 19C brrrr! The chooks are all sunbathing and preening warming up.

My little champion came through really well. It was only a 45 minute operation, and there was only skin covering his tear duct, so no where nearly as bad as we thought. He has a nose drain in at the moment and his smitten daddy is about to take him to his home to recover. Along with the twenty pie cartoon I added here earlier.I know a little about it. Is he a baby? What did they say the operation was exactly (there are two different kinds I am aware of)?
In terms of your question, I imagine they will tell the parents after the surgery what to do and it is probably best to stick with that. Tears are the natural way of keeping the eyes clean and usually the purpose of the surgery is to allow the tears to drain away naturally down the tear duct once they have finished washing the eye.
Technically if they hatch early mine could start hatching tomorrow afternoon.I can’t wait ! Quite eggciting here with tots hatching, Rebecca’s on the weekend, and RM’s girls broody in the wilds!
Soon more babies![]()
