There's got to be something wrong with BYC. I can't even get to Forums. It does something weird where it shows all the stuff, spread out and not very even. It happened when my stupid inverter decided to not work even though it was new. I'm having issues with the new inverters. The battery it telling me one thing and the inverter is telling me another.

Or, could someone provide a link to Forums? Is anyone else experiencing this? it's just looking all weird.

Ok so Perdita has 4 eggs with the potential to hatch. More likely 3, 1 developed and looks like it got pretty far along but I am iffy on it. I left it just in case. I will check them again tomorrow but as of now, I doubt any early hatchers. With the 4 eggs I left there is a shot for 1 white and 3 black chicks. Fingers crossed for at least 1 pullet. I am not going to ask for miracles and them all be pullets, just 1. Preferably a black pullet. My lovely mother already jinxed me. Not even internally pipped yet and predicting I hatch out a white pullet and black boys.

What breed is Popcorn and Butters?

They are Buckeyes. I don't know the line or lines that My Pet Chicken uses, but that's where they're from, and they are three years old

Sooo hard to make out, but there's a chick there! I can't believe I had to go to work and I'm not there! My hubby doesn't take a good photos. But I'll get more when I get home!

Vet visit, Butters is a mystery but did have a little in her crop. The extra green poo is bile from the liver, but on her butt today was a little fibrous poo too, so there's some eating going on. Got blood for a "chemistry panel" for any liver & kidney issues and will help in deciding whether to try any further tube feeding. Heart is slightly fast but within normal range. Quality of life is still pretty good, so waiting on this test to think about anything further, a blood panel might show she's anemic, or a bone cancer, but not much to be done for it other than what the chemistry panel might suggest if that's the case Vet suggested low glucose levels could have accounted for her passing out from stress the other day and her tiredness. Weight 3lbs 5 oz.
