I got a consultation date, Aug 1st so I’ll know more then. I am okay most of the time emotionally. Physically I feel the same as always thankfully. The waiting is really my biggest frustration at the moment, its not long but its also to long. Thank you for asking it means the world 🌎.

How are you? I'm so sorry I am behind and have to catch up.

The Fluffy Butt challenge.
Tassels was unhappy with my assertion that none of my Princesses (apart from Babs) have fluffy butts.
She insisted I take this picture even though there is as much poop as chicken in the shot and Tassels seems to have got Piglet’s head.
She has a point though, there is some serious fluff emerging there!
She won’t let me take a real picture right now because she is resting in the depths of the butterfly bush.

I have been quiet also for similar reasons as @RebeccaBoyd. I have been diagnosed with Melanoma stage 2a and will have to have surgery to remove it. I am waiting for my appointment to find out more details @ Ohio State University's cancer center.

I know this is a chicken thread but you all have become friends. I should be fine but I do want to remind everyone to get your skin checked every year and to wear sunscreen.

I'm so sorry you must be frantic. But as already said, wonders are possible today thank goodness 🙏
Sending you healing thoughts.

What a beautiful picture of your little one and your lovely flock. 😍

I always struggle on Fridays because with the notable exception of Babs, my Princesses do not have very fluffy butts.
Today though I think Pooh may be beginning to fluff up a bit.
I hope this is fluffy enough to wish everyone a happy Fluffy Butt Friday (Babs joined in just to make sure there was enough fluff).

Pooh is looking so much like an adult :)

Soon they will be laying eggs, going broody, fighting over nesting boxes - all the really good chicken-y things :)

Much to my distress I noticed today that Sylvie’s face is getting a bit pink.
I don’t want my babies to grow up so fast. They are having fun being children. It is too soon!!!
