I always struggle on Fridays because with the notable exception of Babs, my Princesses do not have very fluffy butts.
Today though I think Pooh may be beginning to fluff up a bit.
I hope this is fluffy enough to wish everyone a happy Fluffy Butt Friday (Babs joined in just to make sure there was enough fluff).

How is the other broody getting on?

Indigo is still running around. Storm was off nest when I got home yesterday. Had a thunder grumbler sweep through. She took refuge in the coop. Had another sweep in overnight. She was back on the nest at some point, no idea when. Hatch due sometime next week, I think? And Jess is still sitting. Not a clue on her.

OK - hope I covered all and am caught up!

I got a consultation date, Aug 1st so I’ll know more then. I am okay most of the time emotionally. Physically I feel the same as always thankfully. The waiting is really my biggest frustration at the moment, its not long but its also to long. Thank you for asking it means the world .

Wind storm didn't come like I thought it would.
We had some really nasty ones here before though. The one I posted about here was one of the nastiest. When it blew the big chooks run over.

Now how will that affect the eggs? will they get chilled?

I noted that the Mourning Dove nesting in the rain gutter was still there this morning after the past 2 days of torrential downpours - if those eggs hatch I will be amazed! and if the babies live to fledge I will be even more amazed! Silly spot to nest I think....
