Yep but its a backhanded slap to her; many times its a play on words which only the person who is involved would understand. And not a darn thing she could do because it's polite and in no way threatening. It's just an acknowledgement of her rude comments thrown back at her in a more than polite manner.

She's about the same. One of lety's friends is caring for her. She has far fewer animals and can provide more one on one attention.

Yep, I sure would have replied back in writing - ie: "Thank you for approving my vacation time I requested, much appreciated; yes you are correct I do not 'go anywhere anyways' but we are all entitled to our vacation time, and for that I am extremely appreciative of your approving it. Please have a really splendid day, and again thanks! Sincerely, blah blah blah"

Just to ensure that the comments she is making are documented - FYI - I would also BCC my personal email just in case....

Making it upbeat and polite while acknowledging the comments she made, and showing your appreciation for the approval. It's really a backhanded slap you are giving her by being the better person replying in a positive and upbeat way. With a bit of a 'hidden contempt' for her statement she made

24C (75F) but feels like 29C (84F) with the humidex. Sprinkling rain again sheesh! so annoying this rain.

The chickens are all down by the far end of the run, under the Jack Pine planting themselves in the dirt, where its cool, oh they just started coming back in must be raining a bit more now. The Swallows just all came back inside too, must be raining. OK well I better get more work done here, and give the horses their noon time hay.

The sky's nice and blue with only a few clouds. The garden will like it. The rabbits will not.

I am planning to take Jaffar back to the veterinarian for his eye evaluation.
A Roo-tomollogist is probably what he needs
I’m pretty sure he’s totally blind in that eye now.
I can’t help it, I love the little guy!

Happy Mugs Monday from Munchkin or Lil Bit, it is up for debate at the moment. 8 days old now. Well I said happy mugs but she is so tiny to get a mug you are getting a full body shot. It is the greyest or bluest black chick I have ever hatched out. Sent these pictures to the breeder just for assurance it is black. She assured me it is and it has proper hatch down color. Her blues are self blue or lavender and if it were blue it would be a pale creamy grey.

Is there something you are expecting them to be able to do for him? Or is this just for peace of mind?

Sounds like Jaffar is actually coping well with his eye, is he still herding the ladies around? I know you said his pecking at food was in question.
