This is supposed to be the Bielefelder chick, not sure if irons or not.

I guess we won’t really know with any of them until they lay eggs.

Monday they will be 5 weeks old, 15 weeks to go 😴

Can apples even grow there? They require a cold/frost spell to grow fruit. I was also surprised that Oranges also requires a cool spell - who knew!

I owe tax so will post on my phone in a bit.
I found a golden delicious apple that grows here. I have two now and will add at least another two this fall.

Did you see this post - on the home page. Apparently her hen had some sort of Wry Neck thing going on. She brought it around with treating with vitamin E and something else can't remember now.

I read sections of it, should probably read it every post. This is where I found out vitamin E's importance. Wondering what we are missing. She hangs on but doesn't improve much. Not sure if there's an infection or not but we have baytril so I'm using it because I think I lost Big Boy because I didn't treat him with antibiotics and maybe I should have.

I always err on the side of caution with that also. Unless you get complete blood panel done you really don’t know.

Unless she shows great improvement by Monday she's going to the vet. In the link you posted I did more reading and anemia was mentioned so I gave her some honey water with vitamin B12. Also gave some more water and electrolytes which we do on a regular basis throughout the day.

My apologies for coming in so abruptly.

Is anyone here at this moment that would know how to remove a tick? I have tweezers and hopefully I can find a tiny tick removing stick. The information I have found is confusing, one says turn it clock wise and say firmly and slowly pull it out. My cat has a tick in the top of his arm.
