God counts every hair on our heads. I have counted every blue ribbon winning feather on my BEN! I am afraid!
I think it is safe to say that we are all afraid for you. That's not to say hope is lost. I've seen chickens missing longer return safely.

70+ dead and counting. 300,000 homeless.:(
That article has the latest count at 100 dead. So stupid. The stuff has been there for years. For those that haven't read or heard a warehouse of fertilizer exploded in the port area. 3.3 on the Richter scale.

As if the region didn't have enough problems.
I've read a bit about how this bit of stupidity came about.

Yup, I recognize that problem. I think cats believe they should always be the center of attention if they are in the mood to engage. All tech (phone, computer etc.) is a challenge to that. I have one that forces herself between my face and the phone if I am on the sofa making a phone call!
Noodle is a very cute looking cat (I have a thing for black and white cats - well and black cats too) and 'Noodle' - what a great name. :love
My 'eldest' is a black and white moggy and he is my fur-baby. As much as I fantasise about getting a pure bred fancy cat in the future I think I will go for a rescue next. Apparently in the UK all-black cats take the longest to be adopted - as they do not photograph well

The same storm just passed me - just finished. But we got it way worse. I am now cut off with a big tree across my drive with a wire down and the town says that all the roads round me are blocked off. I have a generator for a few essentials (including BYC!). The coop cam shows that the chickens are all safe but looks like a big flood in the run. As soon as the electric company confirm they are on the way to deal with the wire I will go out to the coop and check in on them.
So glad you are okay!!!

The pictures aren't all that clever I'm afraid. Didn't take them until low light.
So, these are Lock's legs. I can't find the before pics. Suffice to say there were two large growths a good inch long on each leg where that final piece half hanging off is,
The legs still look rough but they are a vast improvement on how they were. As soon as that last bit is off I'll be coating them in coconut oil and the raised scales in Betadine.

Lock is the only bantam that will let me touch her during daylight hours without looking extremely nervous.....apart from Barking Bracket of course, but she doesn't count because she's barking mad.
While it's difficult to see with such low quality pics she is a remarkably healthy looking hen.
Good clean ears and nostrils. Good comb and wattle colour. Her feathers are in better condition than all the others.
She went on escort duty with Mag today. Mag adores her.
