Thanks for posting! I was curious how it was going to go. I have misters set up, and they do a great job cooling the area, but the chickens hate them so much... But they come back to the wet run when they're done running. So the soaker sounds awesome. I have these Orbit 62056 things, they're on sale right now.

I have the exact same issue. The misters are great. But the chickens don’t like them, and I feel it kind of defeats the purpose if it’s keeping them out of the cool part of the run. I hope they like this method.

Don’t get me wrong, if we have another major heat wave, I will run the misters and fans anyway. But I may direct them so that they’re not taking over this cool side of the run.

can you set up the misters (and one fan) to mist on the roof to cool it that way, and keep the soaker hose in the coop/run???

Yea, the chickens won't like them, but if you find a way to lock them in their coop with the mister and fans on, they will get used to it.

Mass selecting is selecting two or more photos. My phone doesn't let me and BYC won't let me on my computer.

I haven't tried uploading pictures from my PC but I do it just fine from my phone. I click attach files and then scroll through my camera roll and pick as many as I want. Sometimes when I am not on WiFi it takes a while for them all to upload. But otherwise it is very easy.
