Ask your chooks for adviceAwdadarn it! I try so hard, so hard...
Okay, how aboutfamily has typically gone with literary names:
I give my chickens and my cats brewers yeast. Looks like it has a good amount of selenium. This sounds like wonderful news!
So, I know everyone (and every bird) has varying needs for all vitamins and minerals...but you might consider supplementing everyone with a bit of brewer's yeast. Maybe once a day (when able) give them all a wet mash with some brewer's yeast mixed in. Good source of a variety of vitamins and minerals - most of the Bs, some selenium, etc.
Brewer's yeast info
A cumbersome read, but has information on proteins and mineral analysis of Brewer's Yeast. This would be right up @RoyalChick 's alley!!!

Nutritional info
I started using it with my chickens when I first got ducks. At that time, chick starter feed didn't have enough B's ( forgot which couple are critical!) for baby ducklings. They grow so fast that they need significantly more than baby chicks. So, It was suggested I add brewer's yeast to boost the Bs they needed. I have since just mixed it into everyone's feed - though at a higher rate for chicks and ducklings.
Best of wishes for a speedy and full recovery for your BR girl! You and Lety are so great to/with your animals - they are lucky to have you both!

Okay, I'm out. I do enjoy reading, but math was much more my thing, so I'm getting over my head with any other literary references - there are better people on here for that than I.
I don't know... Arwen is Elrond's daughter I think in Lord of the Rings, but maybe Aragorn would be more suiting? Sauron (the villain in Lord of the Rings, as in the great eye of Sauron)? Boromir, the guy from Gondor (the steward's oldest son) and there's also the youngest son of the steward of Gondor, Faramir...? How about Legolas? Huh.. Frodo or Sam? Bilbo? Oooh, GOLLUM? There's lots of choices. That's all from Lord of the Rings. That's my side of names to choose fromBlack lab, yes. First dog since starting our family over 20 years ago. My family has typically gone with literary names: Beorn of Carrock, Gurgi (chronicles of prydain), Arwen.... this little fellow is 9 weeks, calmest, quietest pup I've ever seen and has big feet. He's on his 2nd nap (had 2 walks) and may be down for the night.
Good suggestions. Will be pondering, and variations of. I like. Whether or not he does.....Okay, how about

I kinda like Sherlock. He's definitely exploring with his nose.Or Sherlock.
Could also be Arthur or Conan. He looks like an Arthur to me. Art for short.
We've already been browsing through the Sindarin dictionary. Gwath means shadow....but it isn’t quite right either.I don't know...
