Yup, that's a temporarily re-purposed post-surgery toilet chair in there, the legs as low as they'll go for now. The waterer and feeder hang from an armrest, the seat is covered with cardboard and then shelf liner. On top of the brooder plate (lower left) is a bed-raiser for a jump-step up there. When the pop-up top is open they jump up on to the back tube and launch onto the edge....am trying to figure out a way to open it up and enclose that circle, so they can go up further.

Two weeks and a day old today. Tried to get some pics, took a billion of course to get some decent ones, most are like this - there's a mug!

More luck from overhead, good view of them preening their new feathers.

Oh my goodness 😊❤️

So sweet! And good repurposed work with the commode 😁

Have you had them outside yet? And do you have names? 💕

Sooo...tried again. Eenie and babies once again were off the side of the waterer. This time I managed to lift Eenie off the chicks, but she was none too happy. I can't seem to get her to step on my hand for anything, so I have no real option but to put a hand on her breast and lift. I think I'm probably just not patient enough...but then again it's not like they let me handle them. This time I just went for the platform next to the roosts. Manny had to leave the snuggle and voice his displeasure. :barnie The babies were rather unceremoniously plopped next to their mom and we doused the light (which we'd wrapped in a red shirt and kept as low as we could) and got out of there. Did they stay? Who knows.
Hopefully they stayed put! If not well you did your best. I would say that if they were still there when you closed the light then likely they stayed put.

Hope you get some sleep tonight.

They are so stinking cute! 🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰 You have created a great play spot/home for them there - plenty of things to explore and hop on🎋

I must say, those epaulets are looking awful dark/reddish for BOs, is it just an optical illusion? I'll have to check them out again in a couple of weeks when more feathers are fully in.

As far as 'up' is concerned....do you have any spare fencing? You could insert a loop/column of fencing for the 'up' part, and run some small dowels through the holes (or, if the fencing holes are too small, fasten some with zip ties), and you could put a cardboard 'top' on, couple of zip ties on one side so it opens like a lid. might need to put a 'latch' on it soon, though, as they may try flying at it to get out in another week or so - and if they succeed once - they will keep trying!:lau:rolleyes::lau
Yep I can attest to the fact once they learn to escape your in trouble and they will continue to do so! 😊

I attempted to bring BoPeeps in the house, but after giving her a treat and some medication, I brought her back to the coop. She was complaining a bit about being in the house by herself. But she did take some time to snuggle up with me. She’s so sweet and gentle.
What’s wrong with her? What meds? Hope she is ok 😟

When she was a little chick 🐥 she would always be near me. Now she’s over a year older and she’s just like a little chick still! :love
