Thank you @Ribh . I was with her at the end. Just like Patsy. I know you understand. Some wounds take a long time. She was so young. Not even 3. I think I may do a full series on here so everyone can revel in her amazingness.

I never thought I would have another like her. But Maleficent sure is trying hard.

I don't believe I have ever shared this photo before. Here we are that last day. I called in sick to spend one last day with her.

Unlike Patsy, Daisy did not pass in my arms. Patsy came over and Daisy asked me to put her down. She lay on the ground and Patsy lay with her until she passed. I always loved Patsy for that.

And some people think animals [ & especially chickens] are incapable of having feelings & forming attachments!
I'm rather honoured to be my girls' rooster & know they feel safe & cared for when I'm out there with them.
