Henrietta and Toothless's little baby. One of Daisy's eggs has a good sized pip and the baby is chirping away. Hoping it starts zipping soon.

Tack didn't come home at roost time tonight. I think she has a nest somewhere. I will be pleasantly surprised if I see her again. The last outside nest site she chose was not a good one.
If it rains she's in with a better shout but the hunt by smell predators will find her in this weather.

I hope she turns up tomorrow and you find her nest. They can be sneaky when they want to. Momma hen her thought she was going to hide her new nest under our hay stash. It took me 5 days to find it. Unfortunately that same night i think the big black snake that I saw 2 days ago found it as well as the next morning all the eggs were gone.

Now you know why I don't have soft furnishings. You can train them not to climb on the furniture.
Some get the idea more readily than others.

Any cushion, Any where, Any Angle, Anytime

Lucky does not care where the cushion is, she will sit upon it.
