And now I am curious about Babs who doesn’t look at all rumpled and continues to produce an egg every day even though I beg her to take a break.
@bgmathteach she hatched in August?? Could she be too young to molt this year?

Buttercup is still laying and not moulting… meanwhile her two sisters (Misty and Whiskers) have been moulting a while now.

Sophia also hasn’t started moulting but she also only lays an egg only about twice a week.

Chickens… anything goes!
 
She looks young. Especially around her eyes
Babs? Funny, when I look at her eyes I see an old soul.
Not an old lady like me - but back to the dawn of time.
There is something special about Babs.
But she is over a year old so I expected her to molt this season.
I hope she doesn’t get totally naked just as everything gets really cold!
