Oh she is fine.
I give her gabapentin before we go because she freaks out and the vet can’t get near her.
It makes her hilariously chill about everything for a few hours.
She wouldn’t let me look at her foot yet today but I am still hoping it is all cleared up.

I take pregabalin which is a similar med to GBP (gabapentin), both are good for nerve pain and both have shown to be good treatments for anxiety. I take it for my peripheral and central neuropathy, and my leg spasms.

It makes me extremely drowsy and ‘chill’ as you say so I take it at night only. Both are a decent med for pain management also (I am about to take mine as I am typing this), but it makes me very unsteady on my feet - another reason I don’t take it during the day - don’t want my eyes pecked out falling down in the barn

I am sure it works wonderfully for your moggy I am seeing these type of meds being used more and more often in animals. I wonder if chooks can take it??

A Good Day

It was cloudy and dreary today but the ladies just seemed to have an extra spring in their step. One of the shortest days of the year but they were zipping all around the yard today. Even Hattie came over to the deck! She hasn't been over to the house in it feels like months. Sadly I did not get a picture of her. But here's the rest of them all full of vim and vigor.

In the low 40s at night. Not terribly cold. I think the cardboard will do, with litter on top.

That should be fine, if you can prevent the floor from giving her a chill, then that would be great.

Support me! my refrigerator stopped working last night. Well over $400 dollars US. in meat, shrimp, lobster tails, my ice cream. The chooks treats, and anything that is in the fridge compartment. So much waste. I’m so angry about this!

Oh that sucks big time! What happened with the fridge?

Well not after last weekend and my not taking my meds for my leg spasms - I had such a miserable night that I likely will never again imbibe.
