Weather tax. Two fer wild water (snow).

Robin (left) and Widget. I *think* Robin has stopped laying eggs on the floor. It's been a few days since I found an egg in a divot in "her" space on the coop floor.

Is Robin a Bielefelder? She looks kind of like Opal.

Widget is pretty. Speckled Sussex? (I mean Speckled Suspect)

Supposed to be wet, sloppy snow here. The girls were happy to see me this morning, I've been standing in the doorway to greet them as they come out.
Speaking of tablets, I finally got my xp-pen unpacked. Maybe I'll start doing edits with my girls pics too.

Robin is indeed a Bielefelder. The combs on the other 3 Biels I have are not nearly as big!

Widget is a Jubilee Orpington. Her comb says she won't be laying anytime soon. She's been offline ever since last August, when she got over being broody. She was my most consistent layer last year, so I guess she gets a break. But she's taking a looooong break, that's for sure. She had a long, slow, gradual molt.

For T-Rex having a snack it’s just perfect!

the other is the spot that we have been battling for 5 months that is threatening to be the start of a bed sore. It will not completely heal, but is not getting worse and due to it's location no matter what position we put her in she cannot be gotten off of it 100%.

There are two preventives i have experience with. First a special air bed which might be a hard sell if she doesn't already have a sore depending on who is deciding. The second is a real sheep skin pad, it really helped with my mom.

No school today because of this storm. The winds are supposed to be really bad. School started again last Thursday. If anyone is getting hit by this storm, stay safe. Feel better @featherhead007!

Very cold outside here today. Frost everywhere. My symptoms are not getting any better and I have no energy to do anything.
