Jenny is a female donkey
Jack is an intact (unneutered) male donkey
John is a neutered male donkey
Mule is a crossbreed of a mother horse and father donkey
Hinney is a crossbreed of a mother donkey and father horse

First they would take the convertible. Which of mine would steer, maybe Aurora. I can see Lilly on the Brakes and Sansa on the gas. Sydney on the clutch, Hattie on the stickshift, and Phyllis in the passenger seaf looking fabulous with her feathers blowing in the breeze.

A difficult evening for us all

Bedtime at the Palace this evening was very hard for me to watch.
Unfortunately Maggie was on the open end tonight and that is never good for the Young Ladies. The other two ignore them, but Maggie definitely isn't interested in sharing a bed with them.

Dotty tries to make it to the top of the window as usual. Ouch!

A while later she makes it up, but doesn't seem to learn from experience.

Third time is a charm and she is up and roosted leaving Minnie to brave the onslaught.

And because I feel disloyal to Maggie, let me show you her fluffy butt from earlier in the day

It amazes me when they think they need sll that roost to themselves!

River was desperately crossing her legs and shouting about it whilst Charlie twiddled her thumbs on the nest, having already laid her egg. I showed River the other nesting box but she wasn’t having it. I tempted Charlie off the nest with a massive cockroach and River was straight in!

Crazy, right? A couple of mine have laid on the poop board or floor instead oglf fibdinvvs second box. Four of them like to lay “upstairs” in tge second level. This actually makes a bit if sense to me. It’s the three lowest ranked girls (one year olds) and Buttercup, who is quite large for the stupidly small boxes we put in before we knew what we were doing.

Not me. They are extremely territorial. I've seen worse on my roost by far.
