Elizabeth
I love this silly little video clip of Elizabeth. Every step a choice. Sit down? Take another step?
Keeping us guessing!
Oh I forgot @BY Bob the reason I posted this is it shows under the floor of the Palace's servants' quarters - the smaller Princesses were going up under those joists as the slope goes up and were laying eggs where they couldn't be reached - so we created a wire wall that you can see here - so they still get to go under the floor to dust bathe but they can't get stuck somewhere totally inaccessible. I had that in mind for under your porch.

So I was recently informed!
I was just about to accuse you of making that up but decided to Google first.
Paddle not Puddle was what I found (which is just as funny really) and I also learned on the same website that it is a smack of Jellyfish and a waddle of penguins.
From this I have concluded that all Australians make up fun collective nouns in their spare time, and for that I am truly grateful. :lau

Thank you. That is a nice solution. I do have to make decision on the deck. Do I take up a couple of boards and look or just close it off. I'm torn because I have seen no one under there in 2 days now. I just can't figure out where the eggs are. Phyllis has not used that nest again. That was a one and done.

A positive development I suppose, but still a bit sad.
I did not expect the Young Ladies to split up. I assumed they would take a collective decision to move down to the main roost and not sleep all alone.
It isn’t Maggie’s fault as she is safely squished into her favorite spot by the wall.
Temps will remain in the 70s overnight so I guess the solo sleepers will be fine.

They will definitely be safe alone. Try not to be too upset. They will be back together soon. Window roosting is quickly coming to an end. :hugs
