You have helped a ton. In fact, you have done a great job. It is very hard to just integrate 1 lady. Great jobI like to think it’s going well because of my extra precautions and unhurried timelineBut maybe I am superfluous lol
You need a pom-pon when cheerleading!Perry’s got spirit, yes she do. Perry’s got spirit how bout you?![]()
Such a gorgeous family. I'm so glad you let them hatchand shared it with us.None better be the answer hahahaha !
Though I have noted that the chicks are getting adventurous flying up on things and even roosting up on the ledge with mama during the day. I am sure that Bert will be an eggcellent flier, not sure about Betty with her Frizzle feathers, I am betting she won’t be a good flier.
Just checked the camera and there they are roosting on the ledge

I love a chopped salad.Problem with all our rain, is that we don’t get enough time to dry out. I can’t cut the lawn when it’s wet. It’s like chopping saladand my mower can’t handle it.
Blue and green eggs are hard to come by.Sis came over yesterday evening. Since I had both her and Rosie in the same place in person I decided it was time to tell them my suspicion. Sis and Rosie have been the two most excited and looking forward to a blue or green egg. Sis has claimed if Owly did not lay blue she was eating her -_-. That is just a joke though as she is like me and cannot and will not eat my chickens, they have faces and names. I put the pink egg in front of them both and told them I was not sure, but I think it was Owly's egg. Rosie was "that is not blue" and sis just pokes it. She then looks me straight in the eye's and claims "That is just like you, you either buy roosters or EE that lays pink eggs." She then picks it up and examines it. Decides it is a purple/pink color, very pretty and while not blue it is acceptable. She was coming for a dozen eggs anyway and if it is Owly's egg it was coming home with her. I still do not know which hen laid that egg, no one has laid yet today.
If it really was Owly's egg, and I think it very well could be, I am thrilled. I do not need a blue or green egg to be happy. I am actually thrilled with all shades of brown.Blue and green eggs are hard to come by.![]()
