Oh! I forgot about the cute chicken footprints in the snow. This was from a very very cold year. This is the girl feather asked about her other leg. I always thought she was looking up at me asking..but why? Trying to keep at least one foot warm. View attachment 3740348

This is Truly as a baby, her mama is Dinarah

Wow so many years ago, she will be 22 in May

FYI grey (white) horses are born dark and turn white over the years. Note that Dinarah still has some dapples showing in these photos, she went completely white in her older years, and lived till she was 29. She had health issues though, at her end. Greys are prone to melanomas and she had many, Truly also has a few I can see, but it’s the ones we can’t see that cause issues.

Dinarah is a stunner. Baby Truly is so cute. I love that star on her head.

Rain. Rain. And more rain. I just got home, but there is so much rain and heavy winds, so I can’t get some pictures of Gumbo until later. I’m also eggcited to see if any of my pullets started laying.
