That's awful. I have not ever seen that behavior. Thankfully. That would be scarring.I don't know. What I do know is those very sweet Buff Orpingtons try to kill the Bigs every chance they get. I've seen one standing on Agathae rooster-style while pecking her super hard.
When Victoria died, we thought it was the gas smell from the gas meter (it was leaking and they were fixing it and it made a big stink), so we brought the Bigs and the Littles into my office. Those Buff Orpingtons cornered Josey and tried to peck her to death.
People say one thing about a chicken breed's personality but it really varies on how they're raised and the other breeds mixed with them.
I hope so too!I think you are all mistaking me for Rebecca…..
(Hope she and her family are ok)
It's why I refuse to let the two groups mix at all. I've seen the Brahmas get along with the Dominiques when there is food involved. Then again it depends which one. That's awful. I have not ever seen that behavior. Thankfully. That would be scarring.
How wonderful. You are blessed to be her friend.I love Palestrina jumps on my back!View attachment 3758977View attachment 3758979
Of course ! I'm their mother! Brahms has been sad since Victoria died so now I'm her new best friend!! They both were best friends, she even tried to help Victoria up in her Last moments! How wonderful. You are blessed to be her friend.
Their tails are simply spectacular. I love how they can and close them. Very expressive. It's mildly fanned.
Josey will have her tail in one feather, and then it extends to a whole bunch, depending on what's going on. It's beautiful.
Out of the Bigs, 4 of 6 can do that. Josey (Exchequer Leghorn), Felicitas and Agathae (Cream Legbars), and Gaby (Welsummer). Welsummers have some Brown Leghorn in them.Their tails are simply spectacular. I love how they can and close them. Very expressive.
She would surely try if she felt like it.She looks like she's going to yank me out of my chair.
And if she failed I'm afraid Phyllis would be flipped. She would surely try if she felt like it.
