Yes.More white than black on the wing feathers also is a trait of males as i have been told, correct?
Much appreciated! I didn’t mean to create more work for you; I was wondering if you’d already put it together. Thank you so much!Always glad to help. It took a bit to put that together.
Oh my goodness, this is very hard work! Wrists are sore and my arms are shaking. It’s only 12:30! I’m making good progress, though.Sounds like a lot of work but a good start.
Don't work too hard.
Thank you, @Shadrach, I will try resizing next time!Somewhere in your operating system there is an application for resizing pictures. I try to use such an application for general forum posts. It helps a lot with page loading and site storage.
If you are submitting pictures for competitions like pic of the week then high resolution images and large file sizes are better.
Sounds like you are doing a great job! I have a similar pile I need to work through but it is full of mice which I take as a good sign that I don't have rats (rats snack extensively on mice I believe).Oh my goodness, this is very hard work! I seriously hope DH will do his junk area. Otherwise, my work isn’t worth much, as they will just relocate over there. Chicken area is between here and there. Bunnies now live near the area I’m taking care of.
My pleasure Bob, my pleasure. Anything to help chickens enjoy life. The wants thing is out of control here, thank you very much. They now assume that there are always walnuts in my pockets and get quite indignant when I do not have any. Thry get quite snitty!
It's really difficult if you live in the USA in particular. I'm sure there are responsible chicken loving breeders but finding them is another matter. So I’ve been thinking more about this and hate the fact that I play a huge role in this awful cycle by buying hatchery birds. But right now I enjoy them too much not to. I’m really torn.
