Morning, sir. I know this is vacation but it's time to pack up and go home. How did I get here? I'm everywhere! Wherever you are, I'm there. In the heavens, in the shower, I'm everywhere. You can't escape me! I snuck into the cargo. Don't disrespect me and take advantage of my presence because I nearly got eaten by a dog. Can we go home please? You want to stay one more say here? Fine, I'll leave. Watch me get nearly eaten by a dog again.
*scoffs and says in a British accent* What a bastard!

Hi everyone, I'm using a different device to write this because my computer failed. It's an ancient 'Toughpad' and let me say it is tough. But it makes you misspell everything. Think about how many times I had to spell 'failed' in order to get the correct spelling. (Faioed, faled, etc. Do I have to elaborate?) My computer's hard drive is failing, so is the keyboard and the power pack.

One of my Cornish Crosses died yesterday. He wasn't a great size but he could have gone in a soup. The chicks are fully feathered except for muffs and beards on the ones that need them. Columbia is still the biggest but is definitely a pullet. Th prairie bluebell egger is actually a sapphire olive egger because she ha a head tuftt. AAH SPELLING!

I hope my computer gets fixed soon, and I hope everything's going well with you all!

Farewell My Friend

It is with great sadness that I share this.

Last night Phyllis passed away in her sleep.

She was very active yesterday and I should have seen that as a sign. She left the coop for the first time in days and just like in old times she positioned herself under my feet.

I just finished making arrangements for her cremation. Mrs BY Bob wants to finally let her be in the house with us.

It will never be the same here. She was my shadow when I was outside. I'm certain for the rest of my life I will check my feet to make sure that I'm not going to step on her.

Be at peace my dear friend. You will never be forgotten.
