She really is quite the looker. Very beautiful.Thank you! That’s Maxine Wanda. She’s a lap chicken first, but also a Dominique. So far though she has blue eyes. She’s about two months old.
I live 10 minutes from Hershey Park. You have truly been in my neck of the woods. I hope you enjoyed yourselves.

I have only had chickens here since 2013. So I likely did not have them then. If you ever come again though.......Yes we did even though we had to chaperone teenagersand of course , all the chocolate
Too bad we did know you thenyou could have introduced us to chickens

It's hard to tell with Fat Bird but I suspect you're right. It's her tail feathers that tend to give her away. She is a beautiful lady. Is she doing a slow molt. She looks a little rumpled, not as smooth as usual. Lilly looks like that now. She is having her usual slow molt.
It's really bad in the winter when you've got more than ten to count. I hate taking my shoes and socks off when it's cold.I hate when that happens!I count & recount & look frantically.
She looks rough this evening. I didn't want to embarrass her by taking a picture.Poor Fudge! A couple of mine went at it hard this year, too. A couple others are sloooow, steady molters. I like that, as most of mine go off lay during molt and I like thst they get a break.
