I think that is right. Especially when young and fit which she clearly was. She was always alert and a good flyer.
I miss her though. I was sort of looking forward to her moving in!
That would have been really lovely and extra protection for your flock.
Fingers crossed she'll come back
 
So the days are getting shorter, the leaves are beginning to change color, and there is a noticeable nip in the air when the sun goes down.
Sensible chickens are replacing their feathers so they can stay nice and warm in the winter.

W/ 5 Silkies we are in a rotation ~ as soon as one broody breaks another starts & one or 2 are always leaving an egg @ day! Boy do layers get mad if a broody snatches their egg to sit on it! Every hour on the hour there's a racket going on. Good thing we're home all day to stop the noise for the neighbors' sake.

Holy Dinah ! She sure is determined!
 
I noted that although the bird has an adequate amount of tail feathers (though slightly decreased through molting) its eye is covered, so I naturally assumed that was what the bird was missing. I think the correct answer is "An eye and tail feathers".
Partially incorrect.
