I dunnoNo roo worth his salt gets "pushed" anywhere! He looks pretty tall too. Wonder how your boys will divvy up the girls between 'em?
And how is Mr Wyandottey doing?
On this play, you go long and we will sweep to the left. Only five yards to go for the touchdown!
Oh he looks resplendent doesn’t he
Awesome! Great shot!
Gosh you have some beautiful cats your wayRight you are! She is another feral cat. I had no idea about the breed until now.
Thankfully my Azur ladies lay smaller sized blue eggs. They seem to have stopped laying, gearing up for moulting. I can’t wait to see them all with new feathers. I wonder how manyI love it when the eggs are not huge for the hen's sake ~ even when the hen is large like a Brahma or Jersey Giant. Our little 4-1/2 lb white Leghorn layed way too large eggs for a midsize bird ~ probably why Legs have too many reproductive issues? Had a Blue Wheaten that layed pretty sky blue XL eggs & often ~ her lifespan was 3 years only. Hurray for smaller egg hens!
Blue Wheaten Ameraucana XL egg compared to Leghorn, Breda fowl, Silkie egg

One never thinks that countries like the US and Canada can be subject to such natural disasters - but Mother Nature still rules.Dear BYC friends,
Apologies for a non-chicken related post. Western NC has been devastated by Helene. Entire towns swept away, bodies are floating, children can't find parents, people are still suffering ... Personally this is the worse disaster I have witnessed since my time at the USA (17 years). The videos are unbearable to watch.
If you are able, please consider donate to Samaritan's Purse. I have made a small donation. I have first hand information that they are doing great work helping western NC. https://www.samaritanspurse.org/
