No worries - they can 'carve' out bigger holes in no time - if they are interested in getting the inner 'guts'Ten minutes later at 3:50pm there is some interest.

I am worried I didn’t cut big enough holes for them.
So good she is getting better.Flopsy update
Flopsy continues to improve. This evening I noticed her scratching a bit using her bad leg. I was thrilled to see this, although her hip still goes clunk and has some crepitations.
I will need to keep her under wraps for at least another couple weeks, then re-assess her mobility.
But I am so thrilled how this is turning out.
She’s clean up committee!Hmmm, I see it isn't just the 'red head' that is a messy eater! Or is she the 'clean-up crew' after the red-head???

Please do not feel bad for asking. I am so sorry if I came off as cross.I'm sorry I asked.
Are you feeling better now? What was your problem?
I seem to be missing huge chunks of information in here lately. Please forgive me, I'm not myself right now
I've had a number of problems with my teeth, two came loose and then I got an abscess. I took antibiotics for the abscess and that created a nasty water infection and my kidneys were seriously painful. Please do not feel bad for asking. I am so sorry if I came off as cross.
I broke a tooth almost 3 weeks ago now. It is going to need pulled, there is no way this break can be fixed. I spent 3 hours the next day calling every dentist in my county and the next one over.
As for your broken tooth I don't know where it's broken obviously but my old friend had chipped his front tooth. It was on a slant . Incredibly that tooth grew back . He's not around now so I don't know if he got filed down to even it later. But I swear it grew backThe only one who would take my insurance is the one I was absolutely dead set on not using which has left me with my hands tied. The soonest I could get in is this coming Monday. If the broken tooth was not bad enough, I can tell about 8ish days ago it has become infected which is making it worse.
That's a bummerI am not sleeping at all. When I do manage to fall asleep it is for less then a hour at a time before I wake up and then it takes another hour or longer to fall back asleep.
I hope Rosie improves . Again vitamin d's c's and zink...I read these vits are helpful in easing off covid .I am exhausted, cranky and hurting. Warm not hot drinks and food only and soft. Absolutely nothing cold or else I am in agony for several hours. Now let's throw in Rosie coming down with Covid and the ear infection and having to play nurse and worry about her. Dirt gets really sick and is diagnosed with heaves and my plate is overflowing.
Good luck with the appointment todayI am praying to have a little bit of relief soon. I had my endocrinologist appointment this afternoon. She was very pleased with my glucose numbers for the last 3 months. She did ask what has happened in the last 2 weeks as my numbers have became very difficult to keep managed.
I hope you try my method. It can't hurt to give it a go and you might save money.I explained about the tooth and suspected infection. She concluded I probably had one as the higher sugar numbers did not lie and indicated a infection somewhere. She prescribed me 10 days worth of Amoxicillin to take twice a day. I know the dentist is not going to pull the tooth Monday. I have to first have a consultation appointment and would be prescribed antibiotics before it is pulled. Hopefully by getting a jump start on them I can get it pulled sooner then later.
In about 4 years, need a front end loader to turn it over every few months during that time.the mountain will turn into dirt, if composed correctly.
So sorry to hear about the tooth being such agonyPlease do not feel bad for asking. I am so sorry if I came off as cross.

I love how people have figured ways to start their wood stoves and fire places, back in the day we used newspaper rolled up into logs and kindling built into the log house type structure. Worked well, but no more news papers now!I use old egg cartons (ones that got soiled or something and I no longer use for eggs), and sawdust (very dry!), and drip melted wax from spent candles to keep them dry and intact. Very handy. and completely free, just as both of your suggestions are! @rural mouse : you must be able to collect some sawdust when you are cutting all that wood - just bring a small bag with you next time you go. (RC: maybe you can't use spent candle wax due to allergies and need bees wax? Probably environmentally better, but I love scented candles - and thye are also handy when the power goes out for light!)
She really is looking great.
