I just found out my favorite cat was hit by a car this evening and did not make it. Please pray for my family and I. This is so very hard. Absolutely heartbreaking and traumatic.

Oh no! I am so sad I hear this, I have had this happen also.

I have created spoiled monsters. They used to rush out to greet the day. Often even before it was light.
When it got very cold I moved food into the hen house.
Now they basically eat breakfast in bed before leisurely checking on the outside world.
It isn’t even much below freezing!
I feel mean, but I’m gonna move the food back outside.

I’ll take 2

This is not going well. I started looking for orps, 5 minutes into it I was falling deeper down the "I want this silkie" rabbit hole. Somehow towards the end I was also looking for Marans. It dawned on me that in 2 weeks Holly my oldest will be 5 and my youngest is already 2 coming up on 3.

What am I supposed to be looking for again....right orps.
