You're going to have spectacularly unique birds. The chance mauve gene sounds like a roo is split to mauve as are some of the hens, so even if they don't show it, could carry it if it's one of the "hidden" traits. Same with lavender and jubilee. Dunno how the silver laced and black copper interact (maybe similar to Whiskey?) nor the wheaten, but the copper will turn the silver to golden (hen)/blonde (for a roo). Any way you look at it, GORGEOUS birds!

Same with Paw Paw trees, if mine ever decides to fruit - might need another one to help it along.

It amazes me how ANY tree survives snow country winters. What's your growing zone number? Our zone is good for most citrus & a number of tropicals.

One of the animal parks here has a reciprocal agreement with the San Diego zoo breeding giraffes. They use shipped goodies for AI all the time.

I arrived home late. But I went and sat in the coop and talked with my feathered friends. Then I grabbed a chook and went into the house. Surprisingly enough, it was my special Coco ! She’s a great companion

I’m not sleeping much. Too much on my mind. Coco is probably annoyed by me petting her this early in the morning. I’m sure that I will have plenty of time to sleep when I’m dead.

Do you remember Roxanne? She was a great friend of mine she passed away years ago. But God in his gracious heart brought Coco to me.
