So I was told about 1 other semi local dentist who accepts my insurance. I started calling when they opened at 9 this morning. They will not answer their phone. I have left messages, even on their emergency line and they are open today. At 1pm I gave up and called Aspen. Very nice receptionist who answered and tried to help me. The earliest available appointment is June 11 which I took. She then told me they see walk-ins if they are emergencies which she said mine would be. She told me to be at the office when it opened in the morning at 8. She told me to be prepared to wait a bit, but they would work me in at some point tomorrow. Extractions start at $150 which I have. They also offer payment plans as well. I need some other dental work done which my one dentist refuses to do in office. I was told go to Lexington. I'm sorry but taking several trips down to Lexington is not possible between work schedules and then add in gas and food and Aspen will be cheaper in the long run. There is a 1 year insurance coverage through them for $49. I think I will look into that tomorrow as well and see about having the root canal done on another tooth. I hate dentists, the sound of a drill sends my anxiety through the roof but something has got to give. She also told me they do sedation dentistry for a additional charge. Yup, knock me out please and have at it.
Well I for one am glad you are getting dealt with - yep I cringe also at the dentist. Good luck ♥️

Fat chance of that! She’s been out to get me ever since I took everyone inside the house.
She’s fine unless I make any sudden movements. When I deliver feed she goes totally raptor on me. She won’t stop until I back far away, or holding her down helps her calm a bit.

She’s probably just angry that I told her she had the face of a lizard. Sorry, but I get mad sometimes too! image.jpg
