What this terrible screen grab from the camera shows is TASSELS ROOSTING.

They are mixes, correct? That looks like one of my ‘coloured’ egg layers (Ruth or Cash) when they were young. Both lay blue eggs if I remember correctly.
I'm going to ask that we not debate GMO here on the thread. Chicken talk please.Pretty much everything we eat is GMO. Anything that's different from how it originally grew/evolved is GMO. Yellow corn is GMO, any tomato other than heirloom is GMO, heck, our chickens are GMO!
GMO isn't anything scary or unhealthy, it just means we selectively bred for looks, flavor, size, etc.![]()
For you both.Curly seems to be having breathing issues, I have noted she has been packing on the weight, I wonder if she is full of fluid?
Here you go.And you know what I like! Wattles, zebra stripes and babies![]()
It would be very handy to have a reference video. Thank you. These animals are going to drive me bonkers. Red, Truly and now Curly. I dread going home some days.
Hopefully I won’t have to drain her abdomen, but if I do so be it. If so I’ll try to video the procedure. It’s not rocket science but if you haven’t done it before it can be a bit scary.
So funny Bob is 2.5 times as enthusiastic than Royalchick. (Or is it as enthusiastic as..?)Wooohooo!![]()

Gosh he is such a lovely boy. And quiet so far! Except for that real manly crow of his! I really need to get cracking on a new home for him.
Not sure why his comb gets black tips at times, I feel that when he is active the extra blood must return to his vital organs so the comb lacks enough O2.
