He/ she goes bat crazy when I catch him, but soon as I say calm down, cool your jets, he starts snuggling instead of struggling!

Actually, she looks puffed up - unwell chickens do that (or cold ones in the winter)

I am glad she is feeling better, they do seem to give us a lot of worry at times.
