Oh yeh! And I hope my word choices are carrying my respect to you too. From your experiences working in schools, can we agree that homeschooling is a great option for some kids and a nightmare for others? I still don't think all parents are capable.

Rodents vs RC
Trap got another mouse in the Chicken Palace and no signs of rodent entry on the outside cameras. I need to leave them in place a few days to be sure and then move them to the other side to check there.
So far this week: Rodents 0 : RC 2
Maggie won the prize of recycling the mouse body but Diana stole it from her. Then Maggie got it back. Now Diana is running around with it looking for a place she can eat it undisturbed. No chance with the others all running after her.
Rather than share that gruesome sight here is sunrise over the Chicken Palace. It looks like the trees are on fire.

Thanks that sounds fun, I always enjoyed making cookies with my grand daughter when they lived here. Not sure if I'll do any this year, since I don't like baking solo .
Be brave and definitely wear your mask when you go out! Do you make any special kind of cookies?

I make 2 kinds of cookies for Thanksgiving. A pumpkin cookie that is soft and a Jello cookie that has a firm outside and soft inside. Mrs BY Bob goes crazy for the pumpkin cookies. So I can't make them too far ahead or there will be none left. The Jello cookies are also cut out into shapes. I will do turkeys, pumpkins, squirrels, acorns, and leaves.

Yet another day passes.
Over hills, twilight presses.
Moon already hung up high,
Welcoming nightfall.

Birds flying up to their nests,
Chirping time to rest.
Time for peace and stillness,
Time to restore our minds and bodies.

As all fades into night,
A hollow of absence of light.
Only twinkling lights of stars,
Sparkling in amid.

No drama or anger lingering,
No quarrels or crying interrupting,
Only songs of crickets,
Only dances of star lights.

Oh, what a pleasant time.
If only day were this tame,
It would bring peace.
