Tid-bitting, belongs to the roo. I give the treats to him and he will distribute to the others. If he’s not around, I’ll give treats directly to the others.Just being around them - so they know you aren't a threat - is really all you NEED with a roo. As Tassels gives them up, you might want to start giving treats...and giving them to him first (i.e. near him) so he can tib-bit to the others (again, after Tassels gives them up, and as he approaches 'teen stage'. Do be prepared for the idiot phase, and watch to be sure the older girls thump him, and teach him manners....otherwise, nope, there is really nothing different to do with him versus all girls.....just respect that the 'girls' will become 'his' as he ages into it.
(again, assuming it is a 'he' not a she - don't worry - either way, it WILL be fine!)
What is the correct spelling, Chippy or Chippie? You have used both, if I have read this right.Yes I do, they had me guessing for a while. I'd been told by someone that boys sprout their tail feathers later then the girls. Here I was with 2 tailless wonders right up to about 8 or 9 weeks.
Chippie is now officially a Speckled Suspect.
It is only an interim name. I think I mainly use Chippy but am not too fussed. What is the correct spelling, Chippy or Chippie? You have used both, if I have read this right.![]()
Uhh, Royalchick will have to tell us that one. Hey cut me some slack. I'm just now starting to come alive. I woke up to a cardinal sin. No Coffee, and had to wait several hours for someone to run out to a store to buy a can. I'm just now on my first cup of coffee today. In about 15 minutes people in the house can begin speaking to me.What is the correct spelling, Chippy or Chippie? You have used both, if I have read this right.![]()
