I should to a catalogue of the sounds they make (starting with Mr P’s screaming - poor dude!), I think I’ll then start with the chick-teens and their honking noise they make.

The weather is a challenge for farmers everywhere. Too much liquid water is the situation in Vancouver now isn’t it?

Yes - I worked in that area on a pipeline job, it’s all flat, reclaimed swamp/shallow lake land. The soil is black muck which is great for growing crops.

But the thing which really gets me is the amount of poultry and dairy farming going on there. It’s ridiculous, thousands of birds have died from the flooding. And farmers have had to move their dairy herds out. One farm I used to drive by must have had 700 or more cows, they had this fancy automatic carousel and any time of the day I drove by there were cows in it being milked. They were inside these huge sheds never saw the light of day.

I could see inside the milking parlour as they had the whole wall of glass you could see in there when it was dark esp it was Crazy, you could see all these cows.

And the poultry sheds, just ridiculous how big they were. I could just scream at these people and at the officials for allowing people to build there. Fine you want to farm it good enough. But don’t put up houses and barns - put those up on higher land.

Rant tax
Tippy (or maybe Eli-too) commandeered my drill and told me I was working too hard and needed a break. Who was I to argue?!

What really bothers me is our weather here. Foggy and overcast!
I can’t fly in this weather, nor do I want to drive my car in fog. Maybe I will take Dakota to the lake later today.

That is adorable - but definitely not a juvenile honk. That is a lovely soft chitter chatter. Mine have all mostly got their adult voices now so I can’t get a good honk recording!

Yeah she's sounding pretty grown up now too but she often sounds like she's still trying to do the same honk when she chats to me. Those might not be the best ones - I had to cut the video down to upload it.

You can throw stuff up on YouTube (as I am sure you know). I snuck under the wire where they wanted to know everything about you, and giving them a left kidney.

When I retire I am throwing my cellphone and laptop away. I’ll keep one device to stream my shows and check into BYC hahahaha.

Of course by the time I retire (I am working on freedom 95) they will likely have computer chips in your forehead hahaha.
