Well, my feedback is coming late, but I’d let Queenie decide if she wants to try to roost with them.I'm posting from the run. Came back from a ski and found Hazel in the divided area with Queenie 2 1/2 hours ago and I've been with them watching. Hazel must have flown over, as Queenie still wanted out but wasn't flying out. I had taken down the upper fence after putting Queenie to roost last night. There was mild pecking and sometimes Queenie went past Hazel, in front, to avoid a peck. Then they foraged and preened and scratched around. Queenie looks unharmed. Fence fighting: that's the stance but Queenie hardly pecked the ground and then the fence, but I think I saw that once. I eventually took Hazel out, then, while I was replacing the water, Queenie flew out. There was no brawl, Queenie is submitting to everyone it appears, holding her head low and still, and moves to get away if it persists. After awhile I rolled up the fencing for more room and refilled the bowls with mash. So far no bad pecking, sometimes a gangup -maybe 4-5 times so far? But Queenie submits and moves away. She appears really content, she was pacing the fence before, and seems to accept how things are. She is eating and preening. Early on she found high ground on the low perch pictured here, she's there now, preening. They did keep her from the water bowl for awhile, but later she drank from it. I'm staying until they roost, thinking Queenie should go into the carrier again. Thoughts?View attachment 2470259

Notice how I almost never post without typos? It’s because I’m on my phone. My computer died ages ago. My daughter, son and husband all have their own laptops. I’ve held off on getting one for myself, because I want something powerful enough to handle a nice Adobe suite, and that will be pricey! I do have a dinosaur of a macbook pro for work (early 2015), but it’s not really supposed to be used for personal stuff.I did upload the latest pictures directly from my phone, using my data, that works well. I find writing any text there weird - if I put the cursor into the text to edit, as soon as I hit space and sometimes before then, it jumps ahead and then I see I'm typing not where I put the cursor...![]()
