It is not at all close to pretty I'm afraid. I love the wooden coops on this thread! I like wood a lot. But this does function, and it is moveable once the skirting thaws out. The tarps are attached with reusable zip ties but I used bungee cords in particular places for temperature control if need be.

It is sited where it is now for 1) electric access, 2) wind protection, 3) snow removal for human access, and 4) right within sight of our kitchen /dining area and the living room.

We don't have any sawhorses that I can get all pooey ;) but I could try to buy a kit to make one. I do have some 2x4 worktable legs I can rig together, and an old broken lawn sale chair I got. I also added three perches in two corners last night. The clear side tarps let in sunlight and in the winter it comes in right onto the low log perch. They like that feature, and also dustbathe behind it.
They don't have to be saw horse high, just high enough to get Queenie out of easy break range. Check out this photo of Lilly going after Maleficent and Aurora back in the day when I was integrating them. A haybale works great too if you can find one them. Phyllis used the hay bale to get away from meanies a lot.

What do you use the Adobe bundle for?
I do our print graphics for the school district (annual report, etc.) Sometimes it’s quicker to make an icon in Illustrator than to find one. LOL. We have a communications person, but I’m her back-up. She had to go out of town on family business. I had to create a video for the superintendent with music, video clips, titles, etc. I taught myself iMovie and threw something together, but it seemed quite limited. Knowing how powerful Adobe is in their other applications, I’d like to learn Premier (video production.) You just never know if your seemingly stable job actually is and graphics seems to be one of my strengths. I’d like to have the proper tools to keep learning on my own and building my skillset.

Do your girls like the swing? I don’t think mine would like one.
I did a swing for my girls once and they did NOT like it. However, it may have been too wobbly, as each end of the log only had one hole drilled through for the rope. If I try again, I’ll do it differently. Curious to hear if there are any other swings in the group and whose birds enjoy them.

I love quilting. I have my fingers crossed as my classes that were cancelled early last year were due to start again in person on 16th Jan but we have recently gone from 6 weeks of no covid cases in the state to a few cases again so it will be interesting to see if we get to the class.
I hope you get to do your classes!

I got a very old beat-up sawhorse from DH, but where is best, near a wall?

Here they are before we left for a ski, a group dust bath beginning, somebody was deep in a hole kicking and squirming and everybody gathered around. Queenie got a little pecking but hung in there a couple steps away:

I will try to get the videos going soon. This has all been happening way faster than I thought it would.
Queenie doesn't like going in the cat carrier, I think it's too low, I'm going to try to get it higher, or get the dog crate up on something.
