The country I am still a subject of (notice I don't say citizen because we are still subjects of the Queen if you can beleive that) has become the laughing stock of Europe and much of the rest of the world. It's not just about leaving the EU, it's about the type of government the British keep electing.
I think in all these National surveys they should do what Bhutan does and survey how happy their population is and how mentally healthy the population is.
One thing I can say about Spain for all it's political and social problems is that from what I've seen the Spanish are a much healthier population physically and mmentally than the British.

I think you’re right. I like your strategy. I did that too, when choosing my chickens. I chose two of each and it would have been perfect but for a few loses which left my RIR a singleton, and my BO a singleton. My Leghorn is a singleton too, but that is because TSC sold her to me as a BO. Lol.

Leghorns and BOs look a little different. Leghorn chicks should be a lighter yellow but i can see how the talented help at TSC could get them confused. Orpingtons on the left.

You know that I agree. All animal life has value and none should be discarded or treated with disdain and cruelty. It is one of the worsts associated with mankind.

Proverbs 12:10 says it well ~ A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

She reminds me of Gedit.

She a "worldly" hen in with a bunch of hens who won't leave their run. She is definitely going to run her own group. The Buckeye hens will also wind up a little smaller than her as well. They will be like Aurora (Buckeyes) to Hattie (Queenie). So Queenie will also have size on her side as well.

Of course it is possible. They still would be different colors when held together.
