It is so nice to be greeted by them.Busy day yesterday and work today, feeling worn out. In good news the ladies are feeling the daylight returning, they were in the front yard as I left for work today, first time in months. They were even still up when I got home at 5:15! View attachment 2519901
Disney princesses was for our 2 new ones. Snow White and BelleI've done Celtic Queens & Shakespearean ladies the last 2 times. Plenty of names left over from those but if You've done 1 river why not a couple more? Kootenay sounds cool. Or Tanana. Or Kanawha.
Or go with Indian princesses ~ or Disney ones.![]()
Before all the rumors reach this thread, I want to announce that one of my babies passed away at 02:00 pst and I’m extremely upset about it
Sounds like you may have neglected the space above your windows and doors. It's amazing how many books you can fit there!Yes, that is definitely an issue, but it is not that I have zero wall. If you think about the width of a door (that connects two rooms) relative to the width of a room, I have that wall space twice in every room (and once in the end rooms). Doors are roughly 3-4' wide and the rooms are big - 15' wide and those spaces are almost all bookshelves. It is the same for the spaces between the windows on the outside walls. I also built some corner bookshelves that wrap around and make use of every spare inch of non-window.
I know it sounds really bad, but it actually works. I am also a 'heap' person so I do tend to have heaps of books on every horizontal surface (often including the floor) but that is less of a design choice and more 'just happens'!
I immediately thought of Harry Mudd too.I might be channeling @featherhead007 here. The name Mudd immediately brings to mind what? Hints:![]()
