I think that's the same wire mesh I've got on the new run. Seems strong enough to stop foxes.A little sunshine for my American friends.
The truly observant may notice a lenth of wire has gone up round the fencing.
Finally!
The chicken s come free of charge...

I finished Abbey Road now starting on the Last Supper (I’m not religious but it looks interesting, my uncle lent it to me).
As I was doing the edge earlier I hear my feathered ladies chatting secretly outside the dining room window. They had discovered one of my jalapeño plants on our covered area, the one i have in a pot, and were making a sneaky attempt to pinch the leaves off
Snow: You go first, Belle, you’re the favourite, she won’t get cross at you.
Belle: No way! I am the favourite and I want to stay that way!
Bok: Move aside young ones, I’ll show you how it’s done.
Belle: But Big Bad Bok, you’re old and slow, you will never get away with it...
Bok: Hush you silly young thing, I can and I will!
Snow (to Belle): Let the old dear go first, sister, she can cop the wrap from Mummy.
Bok: *munch munch* mmmm, it’s ok but not great.
Snow hearing door open: Here comes Mummy, quick, scarper!
Bok: Dont forsake me, little ones!!! You were right, I am slow!
Me herding Bok away, the other 2 have run off: Oh Bokky, get out of that, you guys shouldn’t eat those. Ooo, a caterpillar, here you go, old lady.
Bok rejoining the young ones: Hmmmm, yummy caterpillar. Now tell me, who is the favourite again?
(My first go at chook narration, be kind)
Well done!A little sunshine for my American friends.

Haha! I know your yard is covered in snow. But never having lived in the snow, I did not know no yard equipment gets used. Thought there might be a snow blower like a leaf blower? LOL!My yard is covered in snow. No knew yard tools have been used.
She molted in October and no feathers seen.![]()
Ah - sorry, did not know what you meant then, yes I see the square welded wireNo, the wire is not for electrification. This is our fencing wire. The framework has been up for 12 months but the man hasn't been well enough to finish the job. Another roll will go above it & hopefully contain my flyers. It's been a bit of a joke on my thread for ages as all my older girls are notorious escape artists.![]()
Oh my gosh! I’ve been one of those incorrect pronunciators! And an Emu (pronounced Eeem- you {not Eeem-ooh} for you Yanks!)
