And it was only because of you I knew that I could do that! I can't wait to try using it on the Princesses. I am not getting enough chicken time at the moment because of the snow.

The snow does limit your time with them. That's why yesterday was so special for me. Last winter was nothing like this.

Jaffar tried to flog me today. I was wearing Sunday best when I let the birds out. He ran over to me, and attacked????

Maybe he didn’t recognize you in your dandy clothes!

If I wear radically different clothes the chickens won't come near me.
They are very sensitive to appearance and particulalry don't like flappy garments or bright colour mixes.

If I am wearing rings on my fingers when I go in the coop or run, the girls (particularly the RIR and the ISA Browns) peck at them! I have to remember to take off any jewelry!

You are lucky. Dotty has a thing for my ankles. She follows me around pecking at my ankles and it can be quite painful.
