I wish this plane was a jet! I would be home by now!! But I love this aircraft, and yes she’s in my copilot seat we are coming over the Rockies .we need to land before it gets dark! Oh how I miss my chickens
Don't post and fly. That feels dangerous! Send pics of chicks when you are safely home.

Not chicken related but have to brag for a minute. This Friday marks the end of Rosie's 3rd 9 weeks. We have done the entire year virtual. There have been some tears *mostly on my part, I hate algebra* but for the first semester she pulled off a 4.0. This 9 weeks, we are done for the week already as of this afternoon and her lowest grade is a 99.85%. Her highest is math, 104.3% for pre-algebra and geometry and statistics combined. She's always been a good student, but I can tell she's blossomed in the home school environment and one on one attention. So much so that I'm now questioning sending her back to in person next year. If anything this year has proven that if I had to I can homeschool and for some students it may be the best option.

That sounds amazing! Pardon me for asking, but how can you get more than 100% as a grade? Sorry, math was my thing!

Bonus questions on quizzes and tests plus extra credit work that is optional. Especially with the math I feel even though it is optional the teacher has put it up there for a reason so she will do it. It also gives us a bit of a cushion if she bombs a quiz which knock on wood hasn't happened yet.

It sounds like you are a pretty good teacher, too. 😍

Fat Bird went back to see Gloria the vet this evening.
Fat Birds walking and balance is much improved but the slow crop problem is proving to be intractable.
The strange part is, Fat Bird looks well. She's alert, bright red comb and wattles, eating but very underweight.
Gloria got a thin tube past Fat Birds crop and into the passage that leads to Fat Birds gizzard. Fat Bird was not impressed. However, stuff moved. Fat Bird did one of the biggists poops she's done for ages on Gloria's inspection table and two more decent goes when she got home.
It's back to the coconut oil, water and massage for a few days and then back to Gloria again. Fat Bird is obviously getting some nutrition from her food and she still eats a lot.
Gave Fat Bird some scrambled egg for her supper and carried her up to the coop and tried placing her on the lower of the two perches. She wasn't having any of it. I tried three times. I finally twigged and put her on the higher perch next to Mel. She settled straight away.:love
Big love to Gloria the vet who wouldn't take any payment. She told me if Fat Bird makes it then I may charge you something.
What lovely human beings, both of you. :love
