Although it is technically Thursday, I have been looking forward to FBF for DAYS!
Here is my small contribution: Nae nae's fabulous silhouette and Bad Girl Allele in your face
Yep, us Aussies are always a day ahead of your poor northerners. :lau

Chicken with diarrhea. Might be from just eating grass while buying feed, but I thought I saw a little blood. Shoot. I might have gotten a chicken with coccidiosis.
I've been battling an outbreak for months. Too much rain & far too muggy. Perfect conditions for breeding the rotten stuff!

@Shadrach ..... I just took this from the news...

I did think that this would be the result. With the groups being roughly equivalent in size I thought the would split up during the day. There is nothing wrong with that. My guess would be that the 4 new ones will pick a tribe, most likely the one that has chickens that look like them, and join that one. I am very interested to see that play out.

It is quite possible that mine pair off as they do as a result of the environment they are kept in along with the low number of chickens in said environment. Now please don't think they pair off all day. They spend a significant part of the day as a tribe as well. Throughout the day the tribe will splinter and the parts will move off and then they will reconstitute.
I expect them to attach to the younger tribe which has the Japs, frizzles, a Belgian & the Wyandottes. The Vorwerks may yet form a breakaway tribe of their own but Gloriana & @ least 1 Vorwerk have formed a tight pair. Mine will pair up but the junior tribe is quite fluid with the pairings changing. The older girls are more rigid but the closest bonds seem to be with hens they arrived with. The BRs are my oldest girls & they are the closest pair I have here.
