Hi everyone. Happy Saturday. I’m happy to report 12 chickens with tails up and actively foraging. Minnie is in the nest box, but looked good earlier.

Finally! Grass has started growing and I rigged up a little area the Princesses could hang out in and destroy the new grass.
It isn’t yet very big and it doesn’t have shrubs to hide under, but they had fun and it allowed me to test out the temporary fencing I am planning on using when I plant the chicken garden. It seemed to work fine and I will do an outer electric one to keep the foxes away.

I could but I really like the all flock because littles can start eating it at 7weeks... and that’s about the time I integrate... and I am always integrating new ones so it just makes it easy... plus the protein is 20% which I like..

I'm sorry I couldn't help. Did you try the various advice given in here. . One of us may of helped or a combination of our idea's. Hospital is not a good idea with all that is still going on
