I like your little fire. My first shot..painful arm nothing else. Second shot, painful arm...nothing else! Pleasantly pleased. So questions. Those little meat babies will grow fast right? Get bigger than mom pretty quick.

Yes, they will quickly catch up to their mama in size and then surpass her, by about 6-7lbs! Lol

If all goes according to plan, I should have babies around May 17th!!

I know she has at least 8 under there, I'll check this weekend for sure. I'll do a quick candle to, just for an idea.

My girl does have feathered legs, do those as well? If they do, that's a possibility.

An Australorp with feathered legs? A Cochin perhaps?

I'm waaaay behind but I thought I'd just pop in and say "hi" to everyone at Fluffy Butt Acres.

I took pictures of some of the chooks at the Hawkesbury Show on the weekend. I really don't like the cramped little cages and noisy conditions they are in for the duration. Some of the chooks looked quite stressed to me, but I suppose it is only for a few days.

It's amazing how many different shapes and sizes chooks come in!

Lots of beauties there. I bet they can’t wait to get back home to their flocks/tribes.

I have Rocks-Ann, who will come up to me, and if I don’t pick her up and pet her, she’ll squawk and lightly peck me on the leg for my attention. Barred Rocks are crazy cute.

Bridge is pretty demanding, too. Love that girl.
