It's always lovely to hear from you Kris. I too am happy that you are still there to take care of your tribes.Oh my... I’ve missed so much. @micstrachan and @ChicoryBlue, much love and I am so sorry for your losses. And anyone else I’ve missed...![]()
dealing with illness or deaths.
I doubt I’m catching up here anytime soon, but am glad to see everyone is keeping busy. Not much has changed here, I’m a little overwhelmed with everything at the moment, but wanted to stop by and say Hi again. I will likely be an infrequent passerby here for the rest of the summer. I almost re-homed the tribes here and was seriously planning on leaving the farm.
I’ve had my first true Broody hatch and agree with @Shadrach now. Broodies ARE better! I have two more sitting as well and due in around three weeks. Four new healthy layer chicks and the all are looking pretty feminine, for day oldsRoostie is still doing well, and the ladies too for the most part... the weather is still very mild.
I hope everyone is doing well, and taking care of themselves, families, flocks, and fur babies too! (Yes, I know... but “Tribes” would ruin the alliteration)

If you ever need to leave though you will still join us here from time to time won't you? Your insights and experience are greatly valued. It just wouldn't be the same without you and Shadrach.
(Also, I just plain like you.
